"This year, we focused on the presentation of high-performance palletizing and driverless transport systems in the area of mature automation solutions - and thus hit the nerve of the plastics industry," says Rafael Imberg, Head of Export at TRAPO AG, reviewing the K in Düsseldorf.
The Gescher-Hochmoor team closes the gap between production and warehouse with the topics of palletizing, load securing and autonomous transport.
"Over 200 valuable new contacts" is the trade fair's summary, including 85 percent international guests, many of whom had already travelled to the fair with an enquiry about a specific application.
As a partner for industrial automation, the company from Gescher-Hochmoor presented K high-performance palletizers in an animation and live autonomous transport devices that flexibly and efficiently handle in-house pallet transport: for shorter distances, more mobility and space-saving handling.
The TRAPO Transport Shuttle (TTS series) transports loads up to 2,000 kilograms, for example pallets with plastic granulates; higher loads are possible on request. The autonomous transport system can be flexibly configured according to a modular principle: size, energy transmission and storage, drive and navigation.
Depending on requirements, one or more TRAPO Warehouse Shuttle (TWS series) take over at the high-bay warehouse and safely store petrochemical products such as boxes, sacks or barrels.
TIM®, the TRAPO Intelligent Management System, offers security under the sign of Vision 4.0 as a bracket for production and intralogistics. The powerful data management system developed in practice at TRAPO AG provides producers with the support they need to achieve maximum performance in production and identify maintenance requirements at an early stage. TIM® provides management-relevant production key figures in real time; available worldwide at any time and thus contributes directly to plant optimization and improved results.
