TRAPO kinematics: efficient picking and layer formation

Robots are widely used for positioning, packaging, palletizing and other tasks. A robot always consists of a controller, drives and kinematic for the transmission of motion.

TRAPO GmbH also uses its own specialized robot kinematics for layer formation and product handling. As a result, TRAPO has the entire control of the system and the process in its hands.

Efficient picking and precise layer formation

The planar high-performance parallel kinematics were developed in close cooperation with research institutes at RWTH Aachen University. The highly developed technology enables customer-specific high-speed and multi-variant sorting and is used for secondary packaging with enormous payloads. High-performance parallel kinematics are also used in the area of precise layer formation and product distribution.
