Dancing with Robots: Crate and Carton Handling at its best!

Welcome to interpack in Düsseldorf!

Visit us from 07 to 13 May at interpack in Düsseldorf: Hall 12, Booth A65.

Live at the booth: practical solutions for your individual automation requirements in the packaging industry!

  • The cobot (TCP series) with maintenance-friendly vacuum gripper.
  • The high-performance model of the HRS series (High-Speed Robot System) with fork gripper, reliably handling crates (boxes) and cases.
  • Connected to conveyor technology and an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) from our partner OMRON. OMRON is also represented in Hall 16, Booth D72-11.

Thanks to a modular system, the combination of robotics, gripper technology and conveyor technology offers numerous configuration possibilities for every (de-)palletizing task – from entry-level to high-performance model!

TRAPO compact-class palletizing robots set the pace at interpack!

This year’s live performance demonstrates the handling of reusable crates and cartons up to 35 kg – delivered on cross and longitudinal pallets.

A cobot (TCP series) and a high-performance model (HRS series) work together to (de-)palletize.

The task: alternating palletizing and depalletizing of crates and cartons. A task that requires the highest precision for perfectly fitting nesting of the crates. The change between full and empty pallets is handled by a flexible robot that operates autonomously in the smallest of spaces.

The cobot is equipped with a maintenance-friendly vacuum gripper, while the HRS series (High-Speed Robot System) unit features a fork gripper.

Fits through any door:

The TRAPO cobot palletizer (TCP series), is the performance model for an easy entry into automated palletizing. Delivered on just two pallets, the mobile robot can be used wherever palletizing performance is required. At the same time, TRAPO provides a convincing answer to the shortage of skilled workers: employees who previously palletized manually can now be deployed elsewhere in production!

Features

  • Fully automatic palletizing, picking and repositioning of palletized goods
  • 230 V / 16A
  • Robust construction
  • Compact design / footprint with two Euro pallets incl. slip sheets = 2500 x 2750
  • Performance: up to 6 cartons / minute
  • Gripper of the trade fair exhibit: vacuum suction cup
(supplied via compressed air or compressor, fed through the robot arm)
  • Suitable for a wide variety of containers, stacking and layer patterns
  • Optional: output at floor level for easy removal by pallet truck
  • Optional: slip sheet handling

TRAPO articulated robot for high (de-)palletizing performance

Robots of the High-Speed Robot System series (HRS series) form the basis for applications requiring high palletizing performance. For end-of-line palletizers used at the end of a production or packaging line, these TRAPO articulated robots plus multifunctional gripper set new standards.

Features

  • Fully automatic palletizing, picking and repositioning of palletized goods
  • 400 V / 33A
  • Suitable as an end-of-line solution or for connection to conveyor systems
  • Intelligent control; easy-to-use HMI
  • Robust construction
  • Footprint: 5800 mm x 11760 mm
  • Performance: up to 33 cartons/minute (with 4 products per cycle)
  • Gripper of the trade fair exhibit: equipped with a fork gripper
  • Suitable for a wide variety of containers and layer patterns
  • For EURO and industrial pallets
  • Optional: rotation station / slip sheet handling / empty pallet magazine

TIM: TRAPO Intelligent ME System for machines and systems

Minimize sources of error, stabilize processes and display deviations without significant loss of time:

As a database and framework solution, TIM, the TRAPO Intelligent ME System, addresses digital automation requirements in plant and mechanical engineering.

TIM integrates and links all data sources generated via sensors in production and intralogistics and delivers high-quality operational data: sensors such as light barriers, scanners and many more can be integrated.

With TIM, users have an almost real-time overview of their key performance indicators, including:

  • User management: user/authorization/access control
  • Relevant production data such as shift and machine data can be retrieved and integrated via various interfaces
  • Display, processing, communication and evaluation of relevant data in the form of charts and statistics
  • Intelligent storage location management
  • Data transmission technology / PLC connection
  • ERP connection
  • Various interfaces possible (IP telegram traffic, OPC-UA, REST API, SQL, file transfer, etc.)
  • Specification of cycles for preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance

We look forward to seeing you again in Düsseldorf!
