Dancing with Robots: Crate and Carton Handling in Perfection!

Welcome to FACHPACK in Nuremberg!

Visit us from September 23 to 25 at FACHPACK in Nuremberg: Hall 3C, Booth 551.
More than 33 years ago, the successful company from Gescher-Hochmoor its debut at FACHPACK: It was the beginning of a very special success story!

Live at the booth: practical solutions for your individual automation requirements in the packaging industry!

  • The Cobot (TCP series) with maintenance-friendly vacuum gripper.
  • The high-performance model of the HRS series (High-Speed Robot System) with fork gripper, reliably handling crates and packages.
  • Connected to conveyor technology and an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) from our partner OMRON and a unique AMR Top Module from our supplier MOVELI. OMRON will also be exhibiting in Hall 3C, Booth 122.

Thanks to a modular system, the combination of robotics, gripper technology, and conveyor technology offers numerous configuration options for every (de)palletizing task – from entry-level to high-performance models!

TRAPO compact class palletizing robots set the pace at FACHPACK!

This year’s live performance demonstrates the handling of reusable crates and cartons weighing up to 35 kg – delivered on cross and length pallets.

Together, a Cobot (TCP series) and a high-performance model (HRS series) carry out (de-)palletizing.

The task: palletizing and depalletizing crates and cartons alternately. A task requiring utmost precision when stacking crates accurately. The changeover from full to empty pallets is handled by a flexible robot that operates autonomously in the smallest space.

The Cobot is equipped with a maintenance-friendly vacuum gripper, while the HRS series high-speed model features a fork gripper.

Fits through any door:

The TRAPO Cobot Palletizer (TCP series), is the performance model for easy entry into automated palletizing. Delivered on just two pallets, the mobile robot can be used anywhere its palletizing performance is needed. At the same time, TRAPO provides a convincing answer to the skills shortage: from now on, employees who previously carried out manual palletizing can be deployed elsewhere in production!

Features

  • Fully automatic palletizing, removal and repositioning of palletized goods
  • 230 V / 16A
  • Robust construction
  • Compact design / footprint with two Euro pallets incl. intermediate layers = 2500 x 2750
  • Performance: up to 6 cartons / minute
  • Exhibit gripper: Vacuum suction cup
(supplied via compressed air or compressor, feed integrated in robot arm)
  • Usable for a wide variety of containers, stacking and layer patterns
  • Optional: output at floor level for easy removal by hand pallet truck
  • Optional: intermediate layer handling

TRAPO articulated-arm robots for high (de-)palletizing performance

Robots of the High-Speed Robot System series (HRS series) form the basis for high palletizing performance requirements. For end-of-line palletizing, used at the end of a production or packaging line, these TRAPO articulated-arm robots plus multifunctional gripper set new standards.

Features

  • Fully automatic palletizing, removal and repositioning of palletized goods
  • 400 V / 33A
  • Suitable as an end-of-line solution or for connection to conveyor systems
  • Intelligent control; easy-to-use HMI
  • Robust construction
  • Footprint: 5800 mm x 11760 mm
  • Performance: up to 33 cartons/minute (with 4 products per cycle)
  • Exhibit gripper: Equipped with a fork gripper
  • Usable for a wide variety of containers and layer patterns
  • For EURO and industrial pallets
  • Optional: rotating station / intermediate layer handling / empty pallet magazine

TIM: TRAPO Intelligent ME-System for Machines and Plants

Minimize sources of error, stabilize processes, and display deviations without significant time loss:

As a database and framework solution, TIM, the TRAPO Intelligent ME-System, meets digital automation requirements in plant and machine engineering.

TIM integrates and links all data sources generated via sensors in production and intralogistics, providing operating data in optimal quality: sensors such as light barriers, scanners, and many more can be integrated.

With TIM, users have their company KPIs in view almost in real time, including:

  • User management: user/permission/access control
  • Relevant production data such as shift and machine data can be queried and integrated via various interfaces
  • Data display, processing, communication, and analysis of relevant data in the form of diagrams and statistics
  • Intelligent storage location management
  • Data transmission technology / PLC connection
  • ERP connection
  • Various interfaces possible (IP telegram traffic, OPC-UA, REST-API, SQL, file transfer, etc.)
  • Definition of cycles for preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance

We look forward to seeing you again in Nuremberg!
